About The Workshop

The workshop uses psychodrama and role-play to enable the participants to experience the conflict in narrative form. The participants recreate the psyche of the different players entrapped in the conflict: the Arabs, the Jews, the bystander, the Oracle; those who cling to the past, and those who are willing to move forward.  Deconstructing the conflict, by touching on its most cherished demons such as victimization and victim hood, the Jewish Holocaust and the Palestinian Nakba, fears, guilt and blame, serves to reveal its complexity. Through enactments, improvisations and discussions, the participants are invited to explore a new path beyond preconceptions and politics, a path of dialogue, hope, healing and betterment of the world.
