About The Preformers
Ibtisam Mahameed a unique voice in the Middle East, bravely tells her story as a religious Palestinian Muslim Woman into her work as a Pursuer of Peace. She has been active in such organizations as "The MiddleWay" and "On the Way to Sulha", and has traveled throughout Europe, the United States and India. She has been named "Rodefet Shalom", Pursuer of Peace and has worked extensively in Gaza as a mediator between Muslims and Jews. She lives with her husband and three children in Faradis, a village in the north of Israel.

Dorit Bat Shalom is an 8th generation Israeli artist and psychodrama therapist involved extensively in peace-work in Israel and abroad. She links her ancestry and love of Israel and Jewish mysticism to her work as a multi-media artist. Through both theatre and ceremonial arts, Dorit guides groups and individuals toward personal growth and spiritual transformation. Over the past few years, her work has been dedicated to the empowerment of women in the Israeli Arab, Druze, and Jewish communities. Dorit is a mother and a grandmother and currently lives in Jerusalem, Israel.

Yonat Klar plays the role of the storyteller. She is a daughter of Holocaust survivors and for the last 20 years has been teaching, performing, and initiating artistic educational projects related to the humanistic lessons of the Holocaust, including combined Jewish and Arabic projects. Yonat is also a women's rights activist and is one of the founders and leaders (together with Ibtisam) of "Anuar" - Arabic and Jewish women's partnership for equal rights for women and for the Israeli Arabs.
